International Tender Notice.
1.	Government of Pakistan has approved a project for the Procurement/Manufacturing of 150 Passenger Carriages. Out of 150,40 Carriages will be procured in Completely Built Up (CBU) condition, whereas the remaining 110 will be manufactured locally in Pakistan Railways Workshops. Accordingly international tenders are invited for Procurement Manufacturing of 150 Passenger Carriages. The project is expected to be financed by Government of Pakistan, however, the bidders are also requested to indicate the source and terms of financing.

2.	The tender shall be submitted strictly in accordance with instruction for the Guidance of Tenderers, IFGT-90 and shall be governed by P.R.S. Conditions of Contract A-3-90. Copies of which are attached with the tender documents.

3.	Tenders documents can be obtained from the office of Director Procurement, P.R. Carriage Factory, Admn. Building, Sector I-11, Islamabad from 30.06.2008 to 28.08.2008 due working hours on payment of Rs. 5,000/- (non refundable) through a Bank Draft/Pay Order in the name of FA & CAO/M&S, P.R. Islamabad.

4.	Pre-Bid Conference to clarify the doubt/queries of Bidders will be held on 07.08.2008 at 11.00 hrs in the office of Director Procurement, P.R. Carriage Factory, Admn. Building, Sector I-11, Islamabad. All Tenderers who have purchased the Tender Documents will be allowed to attend.

5.	Tenders addressed to the Director Procurement, P.R. Carriage Factory, Admn. Building, Sector 1-11, Islamabad, must reach by 11.00 hrs on or before 29.08.2008 in the office Director Procurement, P.R. Carriage Factory, Admn. Building, Sector I-11, Islamabad. The Tenders will be opened publicly at 11.30 hours on the same day i.e.29.08.2008. in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
